Yesterday, when I was in a café painting, I realized why I should keep making more art.  It’s true—it is frightening to sit in public and paint.
But I also realized that this is something everyone secretly wishes they could do.
The others looked at me as if to say, “You’re really brave to do this. We could never.”
It showed me that art is nothing to be afraid of. It’s something special and beautiful—something you simply do.
Embrace the courage that is rising from within.

And if you are an artist wondering why you should make more art… it’s because you have this beautiful gift to bring beauty into the world.
